Winking Owl Sangria has delightful red fruit notes with a hint of citrus. Pairs well with seafood, grilled veggies, and Spanish cuisine. Great on its own but even better with fruit added. I like to add slices of orange and a mix of berries. The frozen mixed tropical fruit from Aldi with peaches, mango, and pineapple is a great easy mix to throw in and it cools down the wine as it thaws! Perfect for a summer evening.
Winking Owl Wine is one of Aldi’s most well-known wines and for good reason, it is one of the cheapest wines available and is surprisingly good for the price. How does the Sangria from Winking Owl stack up? Leave a review below and let us know what you think!

I’ve bought cases forever. But in the last three months The Harrisonburg VA store had not been carrying it. When I asked the employees about it they said “whatever comes in is what we have to sell. We can’t order it ?!?!

It’s a definate winner for $3 a bottle.
Just had it with some gumbo and both were delicious. 😉
Great Cheap Sangria
Good on it’s own but even better with slices of citrus or ripe peaches and plums.
