Aldi Cordless Rotary Tool Kit
The Frerrex Cordless Rotary Tool Kit will be available as an Aldi Find the week of December 6th, 2023 for just $19.99. That price is a full $5 cheaper than last year’s version.
The kit includes a 12V Cordless Rotary Tool along with 75 accessories, meaning it is ready to go to work. It looks like an Aldi version of a Dremel rotary tool.
Luckily it comes in a storage case that works to organize all the small drill bits, cutting disks, and other accessories. The tool itself has six speed options that go from 5000 rpm up to 25000 rpm.
This is a cordless tool so I am going to assume it is rechargeable and includes a charger but Aldi does not make that clear on their website. Be sure to check out the packaging for the details.

Is It A Good Deal?
Looking online this looks like an ok buy. You can find some cheaper options on Amazon with good reviews if there is a decent sale or you can go with a more established brand like Dremel or Milwaukee but spend a good amount more.
Items like this from Aldi can be hit or miss, some are a great value that outperform the price and some are just ok.

great for the price
if you consider the tools battery is 12-volt compared to similar priced options
and works as intended it’s a great deal.
The only thing that could be an issue is replacement battery’s as I don’t know if any are available.
Although the battery looks similar to one that I found on amazon however it is not listed on amazon as compatible with this specific model number.
Good tool
It is both cordless and cones with a cord. However there are no grit numbers for the sander discs included so that sucks. Excited to purchase, use for various household tasks like engraving and sanding.
Great tool
This dremel is both cirdless and comes with a cord. It has accessories and my only real concern is not knowing the sanding grit number.
The case is not as organized as it looks
2024 December version looks different than the above case.
Looking through the package, it looks like there’s a place for everything. When i opened it up, I found it was just that flimsy plastic that the parts were showcased in.
There’s a lot of small pieces that will end up all mixed up in that case.
That may be a deal breaker for me, unless I can figure out how to make it less of a mess.

great tool. Why wasn’t the case made to fit the tool with the battery installed???
The tool is great it is comparative to my Older Dremel. But The tool will not fit it the case with the battery installed. Had to use the tool to modify the case so the tool with the battery installed would fi tand close the cover.
