You may know that Aldi carries houseplants and flowers occasionally but they also carry a pretty wide variety of outdoor Gardenline plants in the spring. This year they will carry spring bulbs, blueberry bushes, shade trees, grapevines and more as Aldi Find’s.
You might be able to take care of your entire landscaping plan with just Aldi outdoor plants! I would expect that most of these plants are going to be sold as bare-root plants (or bulbs) instead of plants growing in soil in a pot.
Bare root is how I prefer to buy most trees and plant because they won’t be twisting their roots in a pot when they run out of room. The disadvantage is the plants will most likely be dormant so you won’t really get a good idea of how healthy it is until it is planted and starts to grow. Hopefully Aldi has some type of guarantee on the plants but I don’t know if there is any. Check the packaging before purchase if that is important to you.

Bald Cypress Tree
I planted the one I bought at ALDI in Columbia, TN. Planted it March 22nd. That is 20 days ago. I inspected it today and do not see any hint of budding. My review is not final and I will change it to a better rating if it grows. I came to this website to see if I could find out what to expect on the budding issue. Nothing found.
I was glad to find it as I have been trying to grow one or more from nuts from a large tree at river front park. Trying for two years. Planted brown nuts that had fallen to ground in 2023. Planted green nuts picked from same tree late fall 2024. None have sprouted in ground or flower pots.
Arabian Night Dahlia
In March I purchased an Arabian Night dahlia at my Spring Hill, TN Aldi. It was too cold to plant outside so I planted it in a pot and put it in the garage. Today it bloomed. A healthy plant but definitely not what I was expecting. A lovely pink

Purchased Star favorite Dalia bulbs. They’re yellow. Not pink and yellow as they should be. Extremely disappointed!
Purchases at Aldi
I purchased a blueberry bush, a dark purple Clematis, and a Pink Hibiscus. Only thing that has survived is the Pink Hibiscus, and it’s doing well. I wish the packaging would state if there are annuals or perennials.
