Aldi may not be where you go looking for a new air conditioner but next time your shopping for groceries you can pick up a new air conditioner. The Easy Home Window Air Conditioner (5000 BTU) will be available the week of 6/7/2023 for $129.99. That is $20 less than last year’s model!
Easy Home is Aldi’s store brand for home goods and small home appliances. Aldi’s store brands are generally regarded as decent quality but not high end. This style of air conditioner mounts in your window and can be quickly installed and easily removed at the end of the summer. This is the right size for a bedroom or other small room. Aldi reports that it will effectively cool up to 150 square feet.

Is It A Good Deal?
It looks like the Easy Home Window Unit Air Conditioner is priced just a bit below some of the name brands online. I was able to find a Frigidaire 5000 BTU on sale and a GE Window Unit for a good price.

With more well known brands with good reviews being just a bit more it may be worth it to go with the name brand. The Easy Home Air Conditioner should perform well enough and is a bit cheaper so it could be worth a try as well.
