Camping Gear At Aldi? Pick up a 4 or 6 Person Tent!
Aldi may not be the first place you are going to go to look for a tent or other camping gear but you will find some this week in the Aldi Finds Aisle. The Adventuridge 6-person Tent will be available the week of 5/24/2023 for just $59.99.
This is not a tiny little tent either, it has a center height of six feet and the floor space is 10 ft by 8.5 ft. Aldi says it takes just nine minutes to set up this tent and it includes a sewn in mud mat so you have a place to take of your shoes. You can check out this Aldi Folding Utility Cart, Adventuridge Folding Hammock or Chair, and a Portable Gas Fire Pit to have an all-Aldi camping trip!

Is it a good deal?
When it comes to tents it can be tough to compare just on specs because the specs don’t show the quality. The important thing for most campers is weather or not you tent will keep you dry, not blow away or tear in the wind, and last multiple trips. I can’t say how long this tent will last or how likely it is to tear or let water in without trying it out myself. I will however compare it to similar types of tents in the budget price range. Aldi’s tent is probably going to be a similar quality to what you would find at many big box retail stores or from small online only brands. It is probably not going to stack up to specialty outdoor stores and premium camping brands. I could be wrong so let us know by leaving a review below if you buy one!
Looking online you will find a range of brands, styles, prices, and weights when looking for a 6 person tent. I am limiting this comparison to just similar style dome tents in the lower end price range. Coleman is one widely available brand that makes a very similar style tent. The Coleman Sundome 6 Person Tent is a very similar sized to the Adventuridge tent and it sells for $129.99 right now. You may be able to find one on sale if you look around at big box stores as well since they are so widely available.
The Pacific Pass 6 Person Tent is closer in price at just $79.99. It has a similar style and size as the Adventuridge 6 Person tent but is from a less well known brand. It also has good reviews online. The advantage of the Pacific Pass Tent is a bunch of people have tried it and left good reviews but it is $20 more expensive right now.
Overall the Adventuridge 6 Person Tent from Aldi seems like a solid deal for a budget level tent. I didn’t find any cheaper options out there although I am sure there are some somewhere. Aldi also is known for having decent returns policies and warranties so check into that before buying.
