Is It A Good Deal?
At just under $30 this looks like a solid deal, but without knowing the quality it is hard to say if it is worth it. You can find some name brand chainsaws with similar specs for just a little bit more money that might be worth looking at.
This Craftsman Chainsaw is just a bit more than Aldi’s chainsaw. It is about the same size and 8 Amp instead of 9 Amp.

A great purchase
I bought a Ferex electric 10 inch chainsaw from Aldi a while back, This little ripper has honestly saved me thousands of dollars. A great tool to have handy for the trees around the yard. I have since bought another brand on clearance at another big outlet, 16inch chain, just as a spare for when Ferex goes to chainsaw heaven. Common sense required when using all tools. I recommend the Ferex & would buy another.
EASY TO ASSEMBLE
Not for newbies, unless you have critical thinking for mechanical works and it is quite and works quickly or a 16 diameter tree.
