The Aldi Beer Advent Calendar for 2022
Every year Aldi brings out the Aldi Beer Advent Calendar and a variety of other Advent Calendars in the lead up to Christmas. The more popular Aldi Advent Calendars are generally the alcohol calendars, usually wine, beer, seltzer, and sometimes a sparkling wine pack meant to lead up to New Years Eve.
My favorite is the Beer Advent Calendar. I like variety packs in general and really like that you can try 24 different beers with the Beer Advent Calendar.
I’ll try to get my hands on a box this year a leave a review for each beer down below.
Beer Advent Calendar Price and Release Info
Right now we don’t have specific details like price, release date or a final lineup of the beers.
Aldi’s Beer Advent Calendar will be selling for $49.99 for the 24 pack of beer. All the Holiday and Advent Calendars will be available Wednesday November 2, 2022. There will be a limit of two per person. The Beer Calendar will also be available for pickup/delivery online orders on 11/4/2022 if they are still available.
We still don’t have confirmation of the beer line up but the beers they show in the ad were three of the beers in our leaked lineup below.
We do have a bit of a leak that gives us a pretty good idea of what beers we will get to try in the 2022 Beer Calendar.
While they don’t say specifically that they are for the Advent Calendar I agree with ForkandForties that they are most likely the beers that will make up the Advent Calendar.
If these labels are indeed the beers for the variety box there are two big changes.
The first change is they are switching to 12oz cans instead of the glass bottles they have used in the past.
The second, bigger change, is all the beer will be under Aldi’s own beer brand State of Brewing.
Last year’s beers were made by a mix of brewers including State of Brewing and some European imports.
State of Brewing (Aldi’s beer brand) is made by the contract brewer Octopi Brewing.
In the past I have liked their beers so I am excited to see how well they do with some many different beers. BUT some of my favorites from last year’s calendar were the Belgian Imports so I hope they can do a good version.
Overall the beer lineup looks very similar to the 2021 Beer Advent Calendar, just all brewed by State of Brewing/Octopi Brewing.
We will have to wait a little while to find out if this is the final correct lineup and see how the beers turn out.
Update: Aldi Advent Calendars will release on November 2nd, 2022
At this point we don’t know the specific release date for 2022 but they usually come out the first week of November. Aldi generally promotes this pretty heavily leading up to the Advent Calendar Release day so it is not a big secret, just a little early yet.
Generally you will find them listed as Aldi Finds.

Images above are from the TABC Database, they may not be final but this is the likely lineup for 2022.
Overall it looks like Aldi will keep most of the styles the same with just a few swapped in/out.
I am most interested to see how well their house brand does at making such a wide variety of styles.
I am hoping they nail a few of these and they bring them back as 6 packs. That is one thing I didn’t like about last year’s beer calendar.
When I found a beer I liked there was no way for me to get that beer again. Hopefully Aldi keeps an eye out for which beers do well this year and bring them back as a 6 pack.
