Aldi Wireless Charging Clock
The Bauhn Wireless Charging clock will be available as an Aldi Find the week of July 12th, 2023 for just $14.99. This handy little beside clock not only displays the time and temperature but also charges your devices wirelessly or with standard USB. The 2023 model allows up to 3 alarms to be set daily.
It will be available in three wood grain variations: wood, dark wood, or gray wood grain. This may be an impulse buy at just under fifteen dollars for something that would be pretty handy on your bedside table if you have a wireless charging phone.
I do wonder if you can adjust the brightness on the display. Some clocks like this end up being overly bright which can be annoying if you like to sleep in a very dark room.
The 2023 model has a “Display on” mode triggered by sound so it may shut off the display at night when it is quiet. That could solve this issue but you might also prefer it is on dimly so you can see the time at night without making noise.
Last year’s Wireless Charging Clock was not well reviewed by most who tried it (read the reviews at the bottom of the page). I am not sure if they made any updates for the 2023 model as the images looks very similar but they do list the sound triggered display and ability to set 3 alarms which were not mentioned for last year’s model. Again I do not know if it has been updated to address all the issues of last year’s Bauhn Wireless charging clock.

Is It A Good Deal?
With the negative reviews that came in for this product last year I wouldn’t be in a hurry to pick one up for myself. Here are some reasonably priced alternatives with decent reviews but Aldi probably still has the best price if the product has improved. Worst case is it doesn’t work but Aldi does typically handle returns pretty well so be sure to test it thoroughly right after you purchase and hang onto your receipt.

That being said, the Bauhn Wireless Charging Clock comes in at just $14.99 which seems like a good price if it was just a plain wireless charger. But with this wireless charger you also get a nice looking clock and a bonus temperature display. I assume it is just displaying the temperature of the space it is in and not wifi or app connected to show outdoor temps.
Looking online there are a few options that are very similar. I like the look of this Wooden Alarm Clock which has basically the same look as the Bauhn but adds a relative humidity display and alarm function. It is a bit more than Aldi’s wireless charging clock but adds those extra functions. Another option would be this version from MOSITO.

Poorly Made
I bought this clock at a church rummage sale new in the box in the early summer of 2023. Clock gains time over a week or so. I compared it twice against a known accurate time source and found that it gains about a minute every 8 days or so. I cannot rely on this clock over long term. Is the room temperature reading accurate? Who knows.
Can’t figure out if my alarm is on
There is a red dot on the face of the clock but I don’t know what that means. The instructions are subpar.
Potential fire hazard
So, I bought this a month before Christmas, as a gift to give to my daughter. As of the beginning of February, the display started flashing one night as she was getting ready for bed and she noticed her phone had stopped charging while on top. I told her to just unplug it for the night, we’d figure it out later. The next night, we plugged it back in and it seemed better. So we left it. By the time she woke up the next morning, she noticed the display was dimming/flashing again. She called me in to look. I start going over all of the connections tions making sure each one is plugged in all the way. Get to the clock cord and the plug was hot. I unplugged it and discovered that the outlet on the expensive surge protector that the clock’s USB cord was plugged into(only with one other item, a 40w bedside lamp that isn’t used much) looked melted. I honestly thought the surge protector failed, so I threw it away and bought her a brand new one. We got the new one all set up, and plugged JUST the alarm clock into this time. A week later, the same thing happened–clock started dimming, phone wouldn’t charge, plug got hot, and another melted USB port. Highly disappointed that not only did I waste $14.99 plus tax on this, but I gave it as a gift. It was supposed to be nice and useful, but instead is garbage and has ruined a few things. I feel like if we had ignored it, our house could’ve burnt down. That might be stretching, but good grief! Ya never know!
Garbage!
If I could do a NEGATIVE star rating, I surely would. Tried several different charging blocks, changed the battery twice and still have not been able to get it to turn on. PLEASE do NOT waste your money.
Scam
Just needed a bedside clock. Terrible directions and can’t get a time set nor an appropriate temp reading. It is stuck on L3 and just beeps when trying to reset. Worthless. Want my money back.
