Aldi Swurfboard: A Swurfer Alternative
This Aldi Find is not something you expect to see at Aldi but it will be on store shelves soon! Starting the week of July 20th, 2022 you will be able to pick up the Bee Happy Swurfboard from Aldi for $49.99. The Aldi Swurfboard is very similar in concept and design to the Original Swurfer.
The Swurfer (and smaller Swurfer Kickstand) is a fairly popular standing swing designed like a skateboard or surfboard. Aldi does dabble in toys, sporting goods, and recently had a hammock swing chair so this isn’t too far out of their normal Aldi Finds.
But this is something I didn’t even know existed. Aldi’s Swurfer Alternative is made of 100% oak wood and can hold up to 200 pounds. It will come with a carrying bag, tree straps, locking carabiners, rope and handles.
If your kids like this they might like the Bee Happy Hanging Hideout too!

Is This Swurfer Alternative A Good Deal?
Aldi’s Swurfer Alternative looks pretty similar to the original wood Swurfer. The main difference I see is it looks like Aldi’s version is flat with a curve on either end like a skateboard while the Swurfer board is curved all through the board.
The full curve on the board may make it more comfortable for sitting and swinging and may give a little better stability when standing to swing. Hard to say how much of a difference it makes without trying them both but Swurfer claims it is important.
Now to compare the price, I don’t know the specific dimensions of the the Bee Happy Swurfboard but since it has a weight capacity for 200 pounds and is made of wood it is probably best compared to the original Swurfer or the Swurfer Skateboard. There is also the plastic version, The Swurfer Kick that has a 150 pound weight limit and a cheaper price; $59.99 regular price and is on sale as I am writing this.
The best comparison is probably the TreeSkate Swurfer it has a similar design and is priced at $89.99 ($79.99 on sale as I write this). The Original Swurfer with the full curved board is more expensive at $129.99 and has a different board design.
So comparing those two it looks like Aldi’s Swurfboard is a good deal and will save you $30 to $40. There are also some other non-name brand options that are selling for a similar price to Aldi’s option. The Adventure Awaits Skate Swing is selling for $59.99 right now and looks pretty similar to the Bee Happy Swurfboard.
