Belavi Rocking Chair From Aldi

Looking for a traditional wooden rocking chair to sit on the porch? This upcoming Aldi Find is just that. The Belavi Rocking Chair (aka Belavi Wooden Porch Rocker) has a solid wood frame that is painted either white or Barbados Cherry Red. This chair will sell for $89.99 beginning July 6, 2022 and has a one year warranty. It has a contoured-slat seat and a weight capacity of 225 pounds. It does need to be assembled but it includes tools for an easy assembly. The Aldi Find aisle is going to be full of outdoor chairs this week because you will also be able to buy a folding recliner, a chaise lounge, and a folding sling chair the same week.

Is It A Good Deal?

Dropping ninety bucks on a chair at Aldi may not seem like a great deal at first glance but this is chair with a solid wood frame. Similar wooden rocking chairs are available online but most seem to be over $100. I was able to find one from Walmart for the same price, but only for the white color and it is a sale price. On Amazon there are more options but most with good reviews are selling for $110+. I found the OutSunny Outdoor Rocking Chair selling for about $120 at the time of this writing and that looked to be one of the better deals available.

Aldi’s rocking chair looks to be a decent deal at $89.99. One this I am unsure of is whether or not this is meant to be used outdoors. It does not mention outdoor use in the description, but it does call it a porch rocker. That makes me think it could be used fully outdoors but it could also mean it is meant to be used in a porch that has some protection from the sun and rain. The packaging in-store may have more details if you are thinking of buying.
