Aldi’s Dyson Dupe From Easy Home
Aldi is bringing back it’s Cordless Cyclone Vacuum in an upcoming Aldi Find that starts 3/6/2022 (3/9/2022 if your store ad starts on Wednesday). They have had the same stick vacuum as a Aldi Find in the past, or at least a very similar models. They have been selling cyclonic stick vacuums for the past few years and it looks like the 2022 model is about $10 more than last year’s model. The 2022 year model can be used upright or as a handheld, it has a rechargeable 22.2V lithium-ion battery, and comes with 4 nozzles and a wall-mount bracket.

How does the Easy Home Vacuum compare to Dyson and off-brands?
Cyclone stick vacuums were popularized (and invented by) Dyson and have become very popular. There are a lot of Dyson style vacuums on the market now and you can find tons of off-brand versions on Amazon. I have 2 Dyson models at home and we really like them. We have an older Dyson V6 that stays downstairs to clean the basement and a Dyson V8 for most of the cleaning. Both do a good job on smooth floors (hard wood, tile, ect) and on carpet. They both came with a bunch of different cleaning nozzles that are very handy but most of the time we only use 3-4 of the main ones. Even getting a refurbished Dyson V6 is going to be close to $400 on Amazon right now and the Dyson V8 is around $550. Both of these are older less powerful models, I think the current is a V15 and has a laser beam and dust detector but he price starts at $700. I am very happy with the Dysons we have and can’t think of a reason I would upgrade to the new ones because ours do everything we need.
So pricewise there is not much of a comparison between the Dyson and Aldi’s stick vacuum, the Easy Home is less than a quarter of the price of the cheaper Dysons. I can’t say how they compare in performance but I am guessing the Dyson will probably perform better in the long run than the off brands because they have been around a while and making improvements but I don’t know if they are 4 times better or if I would notice a difference. They good thing about Dyson is you can get accessories and replacement parts easily and, in my experience, they are reliable and have good battery performance even after years of use and charging.
The real comparison is the Easy Home Cyclone Vacuum to some of the cheaper brands on Amazon. Even most off brands (or at least brands I’ve never heard of) tend to be around $150 and the cheapest that had decent reviews are around $110, still $20 more than Aldi’s vacuum. The main advantage with the various brands on Amazon is you can read some reviews from users and get a general idea about the quality and performance. Aldi seems to have the advantage when it comes to price and with Aldi generally having easy returns and decent warranties I would give this a shot if I was in the market for a stick vacuum. If it didn’t perform I’d bring it back to Aldi and try one of the others.
Reviews of Easy Home Cordless Cyclonic Vacuum
Put the year you purchased your vacuum in the title so others know which model you are reviewing.
Broken wheel not in stock
I received the Huntington Home cordless cyclonic stick vacuum as a present a few months ago Today I was cleaning and one of the wheels fell off. It has 3 plastic prongs to hold it on, but only one was still attached. I called the Customer Service Center and the lady stated that the wheel was not available. I asked her if was still being manufactured and she stated that she did not know. She told me to call back periodically to see if it becomes available and then proceeded to HANG up on me. Now I have a vacuum with no wheel and no one to tell me what to do. Very poor customer service considering that this vacuum has a 3 year warranty and cannot get a part to use it properly.
Excellent Cordless Vacuum
I bought our unit (802558) in January 2021. It has and still is working fine. Finding spare parts is next to impossible. I lost the little plastic bushing that is on the floor nozzle brush. (it is very tiny) and tried to find someone who had parts but no luck. I did find it eventually. Otherwise I am very satisfied with the product.
Comparable in power and suction to a Dyson I’ve previous had, build quality seems solid. The test will be the durability over time. Highly recommend if your interested in a lightweight versatile vacuum.
