Aldi’s 10-Wick Candle With Wood Base
Aldi is coming out with a massive candle in a hand carved wood bowl base as an Aldi Find. The Huntington Home Rustic Wood Candle is 32 ounces and has 10 wicks! It comes in two varieties: Tobacco Leaf and Oak or Salted Orchid and Driftwood. This soy blend candle is so big you could use the wood base as a canoe! Well maybe not but you could probably reuse it as home decor if you wanted. I don’t have exact dimensions at this point beyond it being 32 ounces so you will have to check in the store to see how big it really is.
This candle looks similar in style to the hand carved dough bowl candles that you can find online. I am not sure why Aldi doesn’t call this a dough bowl candle although they do call it hand carved.

Is It A Good Deal?
Looking online at this style of candle they tend to be fairly expensive, especially for one this big. I was really only able to find three good options that had a similar size and style. The first is the closest to the Huntington Home Hand Carved Wood Candle, this Handmade Dough Bowl Candle. It even comes in a similar scent (Sea Salt Orcid). Another option with multiple scents and a similar shape and style is this Red Barn Candle Company 7 wick candle. If you want something similar but a bit shorter and wider you could try the MainEvent Dough Bowl Candle.
Overall it looks like Aldi has a pretty good price for this style and size of candle. Just be sure you like the smell before you buy it because you will be smelling it for a long time!
Huntington Home Hand Carved Wood Candle Reviews
Wish I would have bought 5 more. The smell is amazing and it burns really well. If these are available in the future I will be buying more.
I loved this candle up until the moment is was out of wax. It then became a real fire hazard in our home. The flames stretched 8 inches high, and smoke filled the house so badly that we had to open up doors and windows. It scorched the cabinet it was sitting on. Wax was dripping from the seams, leaving a trail of wax as we took it outside to cool. If someone only wants this for a pretty decoration, then get it. Otherwise, be very watchful when you have it lit, particularly toward the end of its burn time. Side note, I have already sent a message to Aldi corporation about the situation.
