Aldi’s Smart Treadmill
One of the more expensive Aldi Finds and one of the biggest items Aldi sells: the Pro-Form Cadence LT Smart Treadmill. Aldi’s Smart Treadmill will be available the week of 4/6/2022 for $389.99.
Unlike many of the Aldi Finds items that come out each year this one is not one of Aldi’s brands. Pro-Form is an independent exercise equipment company so you can get this exact item at other stores including Walmart, Amazon, and others.
So what makes this treadmill smart? The Pro-From Cadence LT doesn’t have a built in screen for watching trainers (or movies) but it does connect with iFIT.
The iFIT app will connect over bluetooth to the treadmill and auto-adjust the speed to match the training you are watching on your phone or tablet. It also has a built in device shelf to hold your Ipad, phone or other device while you run.
And check out the Crane Massage Gun to help recover after those workouts!

Is The Aldi Treadmill A Good Deal?
This is one of the rare times that we can compare an Aldi Find price to the exact item in other stores and it looks like Aldi’s price wins. I was able to find it for as low as $399.99 at Academy.com which is $10 more than at Aldi. It was also available on Amazon for around $600 with free shipping and Walmart.com for $465 with free shipping. So overall not a bad price if you can find one in store.
Weslo Cadence G 5.9i
Now if we compare this to other treadmills with similar features it may be a tougher decision. This Weslo Treadmill has very similar features and specs but is listed at around $300 with free prime delivery. The reviews are not bad and it is about $90 cheaper delivered to your door. Be aware that there seems to be specific process to activate it initially (not mentioned in the instructions) which caused a lot of the 1 star reviews.
This treadmill comes with the same tread belt size, speed, weight limit, and even the same 1 month of iFIT as the Pro-Form Cadence. At the time of this writing the Weslo Cadence G 5.9i is just under $300 but the regular price is listed at $499. If I was looking for a treadmill with iFit I would probably go with whichever is cheaper at the time. Right now that is the Weslo Cadence but if that price goes back to $500 I would go with Aldi’s treadmill. Check the images below for the current Amazon price for each to make your decision.
Xterra Fitness TR150
If I didn’t need the iFIT/smart treadmill features but wanted a compact and affordable treadmill I would probably go with the Xterra Fitness TR150 Treadmill. The reason I choose this one is the great reviews and it is the #1 best seller for treadmills on Amazon. It sells for $340 at the time of this writing but the regular price is listed at $499 and it has similar features to the other treadmills mentioned. Check below for the current prices for all the treadmills I mentioned in this article.
