Aldi Massage Gun
Aldi is offering the Crane Fitness Massage Gun as an ALDI Finds item the week of December 27th, 2023 for $29.99. It was previously available for $49.99 so it did have a nice price drop this year. There aren’t many new details with this release so I’m assuming most of the details have remained the same form earlier this year.

Aldi’s massage gun has a variable intensity motor that allows 30 different speeds so you can customize it to exactly what you want. It also includes eight interchangeable massage heads allowing it to be used in many different ways.
The built in rechargeable battery means you won’t have to go digging through the drawers for batteries when you want to use it. This goes perfect with all the other fitness gear Aldi has been bringing out over the year.

Is It A Good Deal?
This style of percussive massage gun was popularized by the Hyperice Hypervolt and the the TheraGun (although the TheraGun is a little different style with similar function). These are the name brand competitors for the the Crane Massage Gun and sell for $150-$400+ depending on the model and features. Comparing this price to the Crane it seems like the Aldi version would be a great deal. But a more fair comparison would be looking at some of the “off-brands” that are available.
Compared To The “Off-Brands”
Looking on Amazon I was able to find some massage guns that look very similar to the Crane Massage Gun and the prices are much more competitive than the name brands. Just take a look at this search result for massage gun and you will see tons of different massage guns that look pretty similar at prices ranging from $25 to $500. I am going to pick out two that have similar features to compare to the Crane: the TOLOCO Massage Gun and the Elefor Massage Gun.
Both of these “off-brands” have good reviews (4.5+/5) although the TOLOCO has 20,000+ reviews compared to the Elefor’s 1500+ reviews. Both have 20 speeds compared to the Crane’s 30 so the Aldi version may be a little better there. They also both come with 10 different massage heads compared to Aldi’s 8 massage heads, probably not a big deal there but see if those two extras are important to you.
Now looking at the price the TOLOCO is selling for a bit more right now compared to the Elefor. The advantage of the TOLOCO is it has a lot more reviews so it may have been around long enough to see the durability.
With either of the “off-brands” or the Crane/Aldi Massage Gun you probably make some sacrifices on quality but this probably means the battery won’t last as long (or be easily replaceable) and it may be louder or not as powerful. I think if you are just looking to try one out for yourself and don’t plan to use it a ton I would go with one of the cheaper options and the cheaper massage gun looks tough to beat.
The Crane massage gun is still competitive with a lot the “off-brands” on price but there are a few like the Elefor massage gun that are selling super cheap right now and that is gonna be tough to beat. If you don’t like shopping at Amazon or trust the quality of Aldi’s products over random brands give Aldi’s version a try. If you know you want one and want the best quality you will probably want to go with one of the name brands.

Maybe I was pouring too much pressure on ith
My gun was dated 12-21. It only recently stopped working
I was using it on my hip and lower back for sciatica. Maybe I was pressing it too hard and it just stopped pounding. It still powers up but gives me an Er code. Can it be fixed or should I move on?

It was a gift… Worked a few times, now it’s dead. The date code on the massager is 10/2022. It’s 12/2023….no parts available for repair or replacement. ALDI usually has half way decent products but this is absolute junk…
Amazing!
I have had this massage gun for almost 2 years now with no signs of slowing down. The charge at setting 20-30 lasts for a good few hours (way longer than a massage session). The results compare to the $150 massage gun that had broke months prior to the new purchase!
Never turned on
My wife bought it for me for a present. Charged it for 7 hours, battery shows it is full, will not turn on. Charged it some more and nothing. Too late to return for refund.
Bought two of them – rubbish
Both broke down within months. Both motors gone. Save your money
